I take pride in my work and in fair business practices. I work very hard to make certain that the work you pay for is what you really want.
But commissioning an artist means entering into a business agreement. It should not be done lightly or with the assumption that you will get ALL your money back if you cancel a piece. Again, an artist, like a doctor, is a skilled, trained and educated professional whose time is worth money.
The amount of a refund depends largely upon the amount of time already put into a piece. The customer receives a refund OR the unfinished art work. One or the other--no exceptions. I apologize but this rule is necessary.
