The Art of Paula Tabor
Commissions The Commission Process

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1) You contact me with an idea for a portrait.
2) We talk or correspond about exactly what media, size, how many figures, face or figure, etc.
3) I present you with a quote price & an invoice.
4) You send in a Down payment of Half the agreed upon price.
5) You mail or email me good quality photographs of the subject.
6) I draw up a sketch and email or mail it to you.
7) We talk or correspond about what changes need to be made.
8) I finish the portrait
9) I mail or email you a photo or scan of it.
10) When you’re happy with the finished product, you send the remainder of the agreed upon fee.
11) I ship you the work.

This is your art. It should be what you want. You can request periodic progress images sent on line. You can also request changes within reason. I’m willing to work with you, but keep in mind the time to request changes is around step 8 in the process, not step 10.

After the second or third request, I reserve the right to request additional fees for changes, additions or alterations. Again, clear communication of what you want in the beginning is important for the happiness of the customer and the sanity of the artist.

SUBJECT MATTER:

I can put a likeness on just about any pose or location or in any clothing. Want a picture of your face as your favorite role playing game character? I can do that. Want a portrait of your favorite film or TV star? No problem. Use your imagination.

NO EROTICA a please. I have no problem with sexy poses, scanty clothing or even a little tasteful nudity. If you are interested in anything explicit, sexually violent or degrading, seek another artist.
Makes a great GIFT! But please order BEFORE OCTOBER for the holidays!
